1. Drink lots of water

It is easy to say and sometimes harder to do, but getting into the habit of drinking lots of water is good for Adding “drink water” to our daily habits is very important as it helps to flush out harmful toxins from the body. This should be done during work, between meetings, while travelling or even when relaxing at home. Keep your body healthy and hydrated, remember to drink water whenever you can!

2. When you go out for a walk, walk with FAST bursts!

If you are not a jogger or a runner then getting out for a regular walk has enormous physical and mental benefits.

So try to build walking into your routine. Then think of adding a fast burst of exercise into your walk. For example, say every 5 minutes, jog or walk quickly for a minute.

The idea is to increase your metabolism and burn those calories – which will benefit your body not only whilst walking but afterwards as well.

3. Decrease your calorie intake

To lose weight, you need to create a calorie deficit. This can be done in two ways: by reducing the amount of food you eat or by replacing higher-calorie foods with lower-calorie ones that still satisfy your hunger.

Seek out foods that contain a lot of water and are high in fiber.

4. Eat more whole foods…

You know that eating more fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood, and poultry is good for your body, so work on your diet to include more whole foods – the biggest impact on weight loss comes from shifting your eating habits.

5. If you need to, cut back on sugar!

We know that sleep reduces stress and improves our mood, but did you know that sleep also helps you stay at a healthy weight?

When it comes to spending time in the gym, getting plenty of sleep beforehand will enable you to have higher attention levels, make better decisions and lower your risk of injuries…

A lot of what is required in preparing your mind and body concerning nutrition, exercise, and mindset isn’t complicated. A lot of it is common sense and shows that with a little self-discipline getting into personal training is achievable whatever your ability level.
